Finally

Well, I have finally gotten around to update my blog.  I'm kinda loosing interest in this blog business.  It's not my fault, facebook has taken up most of my 'free' time.  My last post reflected the TO dinner, which was during school.  That was definatly a long time ago. I don't even know who reads this anymore.  If you're desperately looking for an update on me, you know how to contact me.  Sorry, I've gotten very lazy.

Well, it has been confirmed that time is flying by and I am already one month into the semester.  But what strikes me the hardest is the email that I received today.  Look at part of this.

-----------------------------
This is exactly when reality hits me.  I know this line sounds really geeky "Ritual of the Calling of an Engineer", but it really symbolizes a lot of things for me.
1. leaving this school
2. not getting ripped off anymore by this school
3. having real responsibility in the real world, not that I don't have responsibility already
4. 9-5 days therefore meaning no more sleeping in on weekdays
5. no more 4 month summer holidays

But not all things are bad as a result of being and leaving here.
1. having the best time of my life here at school for the past 3+ years and counting
2. meeting new people and making some of the most awesome friends I will ever have
3. not having to do homework but to worry about being 'ethical' and 'socially responsible' in the workplace, not that I'm not already ethical and socially responsible

The take home message would be just always be happy with what you have and who you have around you.  When you know what you want, and you really want it badly enough, you'll always find a way to get it.  Good things will come and go.  Thats just a fact of life, but how you remember it by makes the extra a whole lot extrodinary.  This is getting too sappy for Bennie.  I might as well turn on the slow jamz right about now.

Happy New Years to everybody.  I hope 2005 was great and that 2006 is going to be even better.  I was in Las Vegas and California for the holiday as some of you migh know.  Well, actually I was in Newport Coast, CA to be precise.  It was pretty much by the Pacific Ocean called Orange County.  The weather was awesome and warm enough to go swimming.  The trip was relaxing and a good break from Toronto weather.  Sorry, I love the warm weather alright?  Here are a few pics of the resort and whatnot.  I was soo pumped in using my new camera that I took soo many pictures.

Pic 1: Bellagio Hotel

Pic 2: This one's for you Ev, PENGUIN SHOW

Pic 3: The next day, finally got to the resort.  Looks nice eh?

Pic 4: Me on some rocks in Laguna Beach

Pic 5: Can't forget about the nice cars left right and center. SL65 AMG. wow

Another topic:
This is very funny.  I actually just came across this website today.  It so happen that me and Jeff were watching much music one day and this badass on this reality show ripped a telephone book in half.  We were both like, 'wtf, that was not possible at all'.  Now it turns out that there is a strategy in tearing phonebooks in half.  Just amazing.  I'm gonna to give it a try right now.  Send any old phonebooks my way cause I'll be practicing for damn sure.
